Lead

“The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he LEADETH me beside the still waters. He RESTORETH my soul: he LEADETH me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.” -Psalms‬ ‭23‬:‭1-3‬

In this world we will have trouble, but we have trust in The Lord because he has overcome it all. How can we be lead to greener pastures and rest, if we don’t follow? God through his word is leading us to still waters because this world will leave us thirsty. He wants to restore our soul from our sin, all the brokenness and hurt. How many of us are ready to walk that path of righteousness?

Humbled

If you woke up this morning and you were able to breathe, stretch, sit up and jump out of bed on your own. Praise God! There are so many people (men, women & children) that aren’t able to do this very thing. I want to encourage everyone to take a moment to Praise God for your health today and pray for others that might not get to do the things we take for granted everyday.

“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” -I Thessalonians 5:16-18

Rest

How wonderful it is to rest! From work and running around. How wonderful it will be to enter in the Lords rest. Never having to worry, no more hustling around, no more tears or pain. Until that glorious day in eternity, we all can have rest while in the land of the living. Do you have rest and peace for your soul?

“Return unto thy rest, O my soul; for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee.” -Psalms 116:7

Change

Nothing ever stays the same. And just like seasons people change. We say one thing then change our mind down the road. One thing we can be sure that will never change is God and His word. He has promised and already fulfilled so much and there is so much more to be fulfilled in us through Jesus Christ. These are words we can trust and live by.

“Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.” -‭Hebrews‬ ‭13‬:‭8‬

Payday

When we are running low on cash don’t we look forward to payday? Many of us even start breaking into our piggy banks to get through? As we go through different struggles and stresses in the week we can get spiritually low. Are we looking forward to the next time we will go to the house of The Lord. Are we looking for ways daily to hear from God through Christian music, prayer or daily readings. There we can be uplifted, renewed, encouraged and loved. Don’t let your spiritual account reach negative.

“As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?” – Psalm 42:1,2

Bare

Single Moments #12: You know the hardest part about relationships is having to discover and bare the others faults and short comings. I am aware that I have my own faults and short comings. But what I have discovered was that I was the only one keeping myself from having meaningful relationships. The truth was that I was not easily tenant to want to bare someone else’s faults. I had grown tired and selfish from doing so. God calls us to bare one another’s faults. In other words God is calling us to grow by having meaningful relationships and not to avoid them. We weren’t meant to be alone and baring someone else’s faults is impossible to do without LOVE! Not just any ordinary human love. This is the kind of Love that comes from God. How do we know we have this kind of love… well if we know God we should know what it looks like. The more we read Gods word we all can know it and know what it should look like, sound like, act, think and speak. Let’s not run from relationships. Rather challenge our self to honor God by loving others as God loves us.

“Bear ye one another’s burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ.” -Galatians 6:2

Mediator

Got Jesus? There are no substitutes. No detours. No one comparable to Jesus. So let’s not be deceived. Gods word is clear. Only Jesus can give you access to the father. No other name under heaven can bring you closer, all your prayers to be heard, grant you forgiveness and give everlasting life. Who is your mediator? Can you say, “In Jesus name I pray, Amen? Let’s desire truth above all things.

“For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” -1 Timothy 2:5,6

Beautiful

Good morning everyone! I have been meditating of this today. How many of us are dreading getting old. watching every wrinkle, blemish and noticing the saggy tissue. As we look at the outward appearance. God looks at the inward appearance. He is coming to find you spotless, wrinkly free and in the best shape of your “SPIRITUAL LIFE”. God’s word has a great way of making me feel beautiful from the inside out. Do you feel beautiful? Let God make you beautiful from the inside out!! God bless you this day!

“…that He might sanctify and cleanse “YOU” with the washing of water by the word, that He might present “YOU” to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that “YOU” should be holy and without blemish.” -Ephesians 5:26-27

Hidden

‬‬Keeping a secret? Some people can keep secrets or lie very well. No one knows the secret or lie because it is well hidden. You can even be all by yourself an no one around, but God sees you. Keeping a secret from someone? Lying about something? Doing something in secret? God knows it! You can fool people around you, but you cannot fool God. God will bring into judgement every single thing we do, even those things in secret. Have you ever kept a secret? Have you ever been lied to? Know that God is all and in all and whether you are the lair or the one being lied to. You can find comfort in these words and know that God is for you!

“And there is no creature hidden from His sight, but all things are naked and open to the eyes of Him to whom we must give account.” -‭Hebrews‬ ‭4‬:‭13
